yes of course, cause the simpsons HAVEN'T become a product rather than a show and they AREN'T blatantly pandering the the teen audience with a terrible pop hit.
i understand the joke and its unimaginative and just stupid. the new writers' incapability to write an original funny joke is incomprehensible . oh and the simpsons have been a sell out for more than a couple decades, it just used to not matter because it was still good.
