Kids from Shaolin (1984)

This is just a small clip from a movie called "Kids from Shaolin". It's a movie that was made before i was even born and it's also one of Jet Li's earlier movies. I just stumbled upon this today and i just realised how much this was of a childhood favorite of mine. And watching it now... I think i like it even more! What appealed to me specifically now is the traditional martial art and see the full beauty of it. And its not just fancy modern flipping, twisting, tricking that's being performed here.

This is what movies use to be and in a way should be. Raw action, no wires, no CG's just pure talent. The kids in this movie must of been no older than 12 and they kickass! I almost double their age, but their talent alone in wushu more than triples mine now. 25 years later, i wonder where they are now...

Fan of traditional chinese martial art? You should watch it, seen it already? Maybe watch it again. =)
