I just find that post very surreal ? Intriguing ? Wonderful? ......... Her writing is just so captivating. In that one post so many things just caught me, the sex, the relationship, the intimate story of a call girl, the story from a client.
It's just crazy what a prostitute actually goes through. "I believe there really isn't a way to sell your body and be healthy. There isn't a way to keep from getting broken."

Note
Note to self:
- Long posts are frustrating to organise photos.
- Shorter posts results in more frequent blog posts.
- Take better photos.
- Take more photos.
- More pictures = less words.
- Fuck i should do my assignments.
Late entry - Weekend wrap.
Last weekend was a pretty hecktic one. Saturday and Friday to be exact, Sunday was just chilled.
Friday night i attended an event which was called (on facebook) "Firefairys at stone circle". Its quite a regular event where fire twirlers and drummers from over the Sydney region get together and just strut their stuff with their fire twirling or beats. This was my first time attending and man it was such a unique experience.
When i got there past 8.30, there was hardly anyone there and i introduced myself to some and just had a small chit chats about how things usually go. But as the night went on more and more people started to come, more drummers started to pile in and then when the first guy lit up his poi beats from the drums started to sound and it just went surreal from there, felt like i was in a tribe.
How it works there is "Stone circle" at Bondi beach (between Bondi and Tammara beach), is situated overlooking the ocean and it is as it is, its a stone platform in a shape of a circle. People just sat on the sides and if anyone was game they would light up their fire toys and start dancing in the middle of the circle while the vast amount of drummers somehow manage to sync their beats together with the dancer. There were girls off to the side dancing to the beats, the only source of light came from the one tiny oil lamp, the moon and of course the dancers when they lite up. When the dancers light up your could feel the warmth from the flame on your face and the atmosphere was just ecstatic. People were drinking and I'm pretty sure some of the girls dancing were high. What took the whole night was one girl who played with the fire hoops, she was just amazing.
I also realised after a while that i was possible the only person of asian decent there! Hahahah, i find this quite amusing somehow but i didn't feel out of place at all other than the fact that i knew nobody there but it was ok! That event didn't have a tight nit group instead it was more of a public forum, which is very social. I left pretty early because after a while people started to get shy i assume and the center of the stone circle just got occupied by the possibly high/drunk girls dancing to the drums.
Saturday I woke up pretty early 6.45am to be exact. Did a lap at loftus with Jing and Nelson. Unfortunatly I got there late (sorry guys!) but while i was setting up Jing noticed a Civic Type R with bikes on the roof pull in and he immediately recognised who the asians were and so we all just grouped together in one pack.
The pace was ok and it was the first time in a while since i rode with Jing and boy his fitness has improved so much! That and my fitness has just plummeted below the floor. I could tell that he and Nelson were just cruising but to be honest, If we went just that little bit faster that would of put alot of strain on my legs to keep up.
After the ride I met up with some of the boys and we went on a cruise to ... I don't know where to be honest, somewhere past Dural near the blue mountains. The cruise started out quite frustrating, being stuck in traffic trying to go past North Sydney. I eventually got fed up with the traffic and did a switcharoo with Will. This gave me an opportunity to take some photos. More photos on my facebook.
Unfortunately I never reached the destination because i was just so tight on time. So when we past the valley and the cars had to wait in line to catch a ferry across the river i had to say my goodbyes and head back home. Oh and thanks Warren for the GPS, I would of been so lost without it.
Got back just in time to pick up my cousin Kelvin and head to Kartattack in Wolli Creek for the start of Darrens bucks night. When i walked into the place and realised it was indoors i was quite displeased and was expecting it to be a small and slow track with even slower cars. But it was quite the opposite! Because it was so small the track was super tight and the cars were quite fast and had slicks.
I as always was the craziest idiot out there on the track, driving dirty at first but then got into a nice rhythm and started to make clean passes. That was until 3 cars came head to head into a hairpin, we all collided and the marshals weren't too happy.
After that was dinner at some Korean restaurant in Chinatown. The food was very average, felt like all we were eating were cut up sausages with kimchi. But the reason why Glenn (the Best man) chose this place was because of the cheap beer. Our set menu included beer and two bottle of soju! They place also offered beer in 2 liter and 5 liter quantities!
The night was quite tame for a bucks night. No strippers no gambling nothing silly. Just pool at sharkies and a club after.
I was the designated driver so i was meant to drive some home but somehow i only ended driving Kelvin home. Hrm.. what else happened? Oh yeh, my car got locked in the Market City carpark, that was gay but security was nice enough to let me out!
I got home at 3am.

It was funny, after dinner when Darren stood up he chundered hard in the restaurant. It was ok, we were in the outdoor area, people were still dining, i don't think they were too happy. Fishies!
A while back in my blog i posted about how my bristlenose catfish has been laying eggs and they hatched about a dozen baby catfishies. Well, they all disappeared, my assumption would be they either got eaten by the guppies or lost the fight for food in the tank and starved to death.
Well last week i noticed just one hatchling stuck on the grass. Then a few days ago, BAM!! I saw these babies stuck on the tank wall.
I counted about 8 or more. So fearing that would starve again i started dropping in bit more algae chips in for them, but then my tank started to get real filthy from the uneaten food. So i siphoned the tank and started to feed them less.
I can't find them anymore, i think they are too dumb to find food on their own..... *insert sadface*

3 Days in the saddle.
So upon realising that the Scott 24 is on the 9th-10th oct, which is in fact only about 3 weeks away, it finally hit me that if i don't do anything now I'm screwed.
Well I'm already screwed, but I know but i could potentially be so screwed that i just wont have fun when i go. So i figured i better do something about it.
Saturday arvo I hit loftus up for a short lap, the sun was setting and also i was due to be at brighton at 5 (which i got there at 6, oops!).
Sunday after work I did a full bmu lap, and on Monday (yesterday) I did 2 laps of Appin.
Saturday at loftus would of been my first solo ride in a very very long time, maybe a year or even more. It was also the first time of me being on the bike since i went down to Stromlo. It was quite frustrating really, I was never out of breath but I just couldn't go any faster. Also riding through the single tracks I noticed i don't have much style anymore, instead of say "Calving it up" I was more just rolling past. Sure it was still fun but i knew I have done better.
Sunday after work i figured i should ride again to get use to being strained from riding. Got there and i bumped into a guy named Warren who is apparently part of the bmu forums . He noticed i was wearing the bmu jersey and said hi, shame i just got there and he was leaving.
This time i did the full lap, my sit bones on my bum was a bit sore, this surprised me because i didn't even ride for that long the day before. It was a bit better than the day before, I could flow a lot better through the single track but i still lacked a lot of power and speed, which was again a bit frustrating. I was never out of breath but when i wanted to go a bit faster than i just couldn't.
Monday would be my 3rd day consecutive on the bike. It's been a while since that has happened, I cannot even guess how long its been since this last happened. Surprisingly I was feeling fine, bottom was feeling good too.
The single track at Appin is substantially more technical than loftus and it was clear i have lost a fair bit of fluidity. I managed to fit in 2 laps in 90 mins, i considered heading home after 1 lap but that means the commute time would of double of my ride time and i just couldn't hack that. I did the first lap at a cruising speed and then on the second i tried to speed things up a bit. In the end both laps clocked in at 45 mins. So much for trying huh?
This time I could put more power down in the pedals but after a short amount of time my legs would forget that and then my legs start mushing at the 'comfort' speed. Then when i noticed this mush i would speed up again but my legs would soon forget again becoming a cyclic process.
Today, i figured i should rest but hopefully i can study enough to hit Manly Dam up tomorrow morning with Jing.
Re-reading what i just wrote i realised i have had quite a quick improvement in just three days. I hope if i can keep this up i will be up to scratch at the Scott.

Weekend.
This is what i get up to on my weekends.
Before:
After:
The roller shutter has been giving me the shits these past few weeks because when its operating the actual sheet metal has been absolutely screeching against the guide rails. I just thought a dab of grease/lube would of fixed it but in the end i had to loosen the rails and readjust it a bit. Now the screeching has turned into a twerp.

Textbooks
How wonderful is it when your lecturer writes his own textbook, then creates an assignment which forces you to buy the $99 text book and then upon completing such assignment through a combined effort of 50 man hours you realise that the textbook you have just purchased is made redundant for the rest of the semester.
Fan-fucking-tastic. I better pass.

First batch.
Ok, so the first batch of photos i took with my ultra rad camera are developed. Here are just a few.
I quite like this shot.
I don't even remembering taking this picture. Nor do i know where it is.
This in my opinion is best shot of them all. By luck the settings were all perfect, plenty of light and the colours are astounding!
This picture also has a bit of a story to it which to me anyway makes it just so much more interesting. Driving down along one of the heaviest trafficked roads in Sydney, I notice the driver of car on my right, a middle aged man wearing a simple black suit, white shirt and black tie. Driving a classic Mercedes, metallic grey, smooth lines and simple just how a high classed luxury car should feel and look. The man was talking, no one in the front seat, windows wound all the way up and in the rear passenger seat sat a man, middle aged but his aura gave a more youthful feel than the driver. Resting his arm on the window sill, his watch just caught a sparkle in my eye. This man was a man of class. So then the red light came both mine and his car was at the front, we both stopped and out came my camera. Which is why I call this picture "Chauffeured".
So after this first batch of photos i have learned alot.

- ASA/DIN is an old fashioned abbreviation which is equivalent to ISO.
- This camera cannot take macro shots.
- Any shot taken with a shutter speed of less than 1/250th will give poor photos.
- When taking photos in low light, I must concentrate and think about the settings.
- The camera does not exactly have a zoom, but it does specify a distance which must be taken into account.
- Photos should be taken at least 1 meter away from subject.
- The film itself has an ISO rating.
- These photos are way rad!
My attempt.
This photo was taken quite a long time ago, December 2006 to be accurate. It was just when my sister bought her first slr, it's a Pentax k100D.
The camera itself is quite a low budget one, very weak in low lighting and it just struggles to capture moving objects with any sharpness at all. Added to the fact that back then and even now i don't know how to fully utilise or even use an slr. This is as good as my photos can get i guess.
I quite like it and i don't know why, just something random. It means nothing to me but i guess i just find it aesthetically pleasing. So when i stumbled upon this photo while going through old files i thought maybe i can fix it up a bit. It may be an ok shot but i can't stand how noisy it is and thought i could try photoshop it.
This is what i ended up with. I actually have no clue on how to use photoshop cs3, i think i ruined it because i actually prefer the original photo. I only wanted to make the image look a little bit sharper and not so noisy but i think i went in the total opposite direction.
What do you think?

New old camera!
This is so fucking cool! It's an Olympus 32 RC, it also has a flash that was with it too! Dad said this thing was from before i was born, he said he lost it.
But I found it this morning! Bought a roll of film for it and just been snapping. The funky thin about film though is i have no idea what the hell these pictures will look like. So if the lens is shot i don't know till the end. Also i have no idea is the photo's i take are of any quality either.
I've been reading this guy who reviews stuff like this and it seems pretty decent from his review. Also It's got a description of what all the dials represent too. It's got an automatic/default setting and alot of manual settings too. I can control the aperture, shutter speed and all these other gizmos i don't understand quite yet. It's also got a self timer! hehe.
So to test out the camera i brought it out with me to Coogee beach, I hung out with Bel today and took a few photos. Again i have no idea how my photos look until i finish the roll and develop them. Such a rad day today.

Logorama
Logorama from Marc Altshuler - Human Music on Vimeo.
"This is a short film that was directed by the French animation collective H5, François Alaux, Hervé de Crécy + Ludovic Houplain. It was presented at the Cannes Film Festival 2009. It opened the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and won a 2010 academy award under the category of animated short. "
I quite enjoyed this short film. Says a lot about our commercial world.

Spring is coming.
BodyBoarding Showreel from Nick Jackson on Vimeo.
To me, life is just one big adventure. No matter how hard you may crash, you get up and learn from it, most importantly have the best fun while you're at it.
PS : They are some big fucking waves!
My first ebay sale.
So after the weekend at Canberra I did decide having the bike in the back isn't too bad but i dislike how it gets my car filthy inside.
After scavenging around the house i did find the roof racks that was meant for the Camry, It was never fitted because when my dad got it i think he just didn't know how to put them on so i think he just gave up. I tried to put them on the sp23 but the racks are too wide and are the gutterless type but i could of tinkered with it to make it fit.
But then i figured why butcher it why someone else can benefit from it. And also i could use the money to get a set of racks that fit on the go!
Well check it out and buy it if you need them :)

Photos.
I hope these pictures don't offend anyone. To me it's art/photography. In a way it's one of my secret passions, I really do enjoy looking at great photos. I only wish i could take equally good photos.
I was talking to someone just recently on facebook too, and I'm not too sure if i have mentioned this but she has given me ideas on getting out my dads old film slr, repair it (if its damaged) and just start taking photos. I really do enjoy photography and (i think) it would be heaps of fun if i gave it a go too! The only problem is, I know its a long and lengthy process and super expensive too!
I could keep linking photos on this blog for a long time. Photos of food, cars, landscape or bikes but today I'll just link these.
Photos are taken from chrissycomprehensible & real princess more photos in their tumblr.
